Grass park bench (Vray fur test) 3ds max, Photoshop, VRay June 2008
Built this scene as a means of testing Vray Fur to make grass. The foreground grass and bench are done with Vray Fur, the background is photography. I wanted to see if I could do reasonably good grass this way in high res - and I'm happy with the result. Original render was about 4K and it holds up well.
